I like eggnog. It's very rich. But I wouldn't drink it all the time. Especially in the summer months. Most people would not buy it year round. So it's seasonal.

I think it wouldn't hurt the dairy companies to try to keep it on the shelf for a year and see how it goes. But I do think it would be harmful to their buisness, I love eggnog as well, but most people like it as a rare treat, if it was out all year around, it would lose its specialness {lol is that even a word?} People buy it because it's linked with holiday tradition, if it was available all year around, they would probably stop the tradition, and think very little on buying it at all as it costs more. It would be something used as a very rare treat I think.

I also love eggnog and am always glad when they finally place it back on the shelf usually at the earliest the first part of November. I also wish they would sell it year round.

I love egg nog and while I would love for it to be served all year round I don't think it would make it as special a treat at holiday times. So no I don't think it should be served all year round.
