Go to a trick shop and see what they have. A 7 yr old could get some of those xray specs and think it was the coolest thing ever.
By the way you should keep that list...that is just too cute he asked for that....and it'd be a funny thing to show him later!

Oh my God!!! That is soooo cute! Well, my 3 yr old his way into Spiderman and we bought him something from Wal-Mart that comes with a light up mask and a Spidey glove with a Web-shooter. It attaches to his wrist and you put a special tube of Silly string in it and you "shoot webs" and people and stuff. He loves it. With flying you could take him somewhere where they can hook-him up to ropes or whatever and "fly" him around, or for X-ray vision you could get him night-vision goggles. That's cool too. You could also take him to a laser tag place where he could shoot you with lasers. That's cool. Or get him an "invisable cloak". Just some ideas!

That is so cute! You could get him a gift certificate and tell him now he has consumer power to pick out a game for his new Nintendo DS. That's the easy way out.

Every kid thinks he can fly... until he falls off the roof.
Just tell him that no people really has super powers like that, we jsut imagine they do because its entertaining. He has to grow up at some point.
Which reminds me, havent I seen you around here asking weird questions about kids? Or was that another Dave person?

Have him ask Santa and then maybe the big man will explain the situation. Or maybe have him write Santa and then Santa or one of the elves can write him back and explain that Santa brings toys and isn't able to grant magic powers.

he will have to learn that Santa ( or whoever you say brings him things) only brings what he thinks your son needs and that he cannot get everything he asks for. Santa has to bring to other kids and so he has to have enough to go around.
enjoy him at this age. they grow quickly. Also my 11 year old also has a list going - so it's not too soon - Kmart already has up trees.

I saw somewhere "magic gloves" a while back. They had magnets in them so you could wave your hand over a table and pick up paperclips and such. I think it was one of those educational toy stores like Imaginarium or something.
You could get something like that.
