If you are able to carry a boy, then you are able to carry a boy. Most of the time when women miscarry it is because some part of the genetics of the fetus has mutated or not formed right.

At conception, the basic template is female. It is only through the release of testosterone that the egg will begin to create a Male.

My partners family will predominately produce girls. This is due to her hormone ballance. So, although it is possible for her to produce boys, it is not as likely.

However, my partner is a rare breed and normally a female would be able to produce either male, or female.

I dont know for sure but I have seen programmes and read that sometimes A woman can only carry either, it has something to do with genetics and my Aunt miscarried twice and they were both girls, she could only carry boys full term.

Its a genetic fault in certain people

The woman does not determine the sex of the baby, the father does. It is the sperm that carries the sex of the baby. But it is possible for men to just carry only sperm for one sex. My friend had 5 girls, her husband went and they found that it was all he would be able to have!

It may be genetics or could be concidence. Maybe your husband has a lot of y-sperms! Talk to an ob/gyn if you are really worried and want to conceive a girl.

All I know is that it's the male sperm which decides the sex of the baby..
I've got a little girl and am currently expecting my second, another girl!

The male (sperm) is what determines the sex of the fetus
