im becoming a goth but im not yet and he is. mabye hes embaresed how do i get him to go out with me.

Try asking him (if you are that close) how he feels about it?
I would be curious as to why you want to become that way...
Hopefully he will like you for YOU and not how you choose to dress...

Make sure that the goth lifestyle is one that you want to be in. I used to date a semi-goth and even though we enjoyed most of our time together, there was times when our lifestyles conflicted. Although the relationship might be exciting at first, you might find things that you won't like about his friends, etc. And that goes the same way with him.
