Eat several (5-6) small meals a day...your body will burn calories faster and build your metabolism in a short period of time.
(eat about every 2 hours)
The first 8-10 pounds you shed is water.
Meal suggestions:
piece of fruit
string cheese, summer sausage, cottage cheese/yogurt
tuna/turkey/ham sandwich (lettuce, tomatoe optional)
soup
raw veggies
boiled eggs
popcorn
Always eat a good dinner...meat, potatoes/pasta/rice, veggie...your body needs carbs, protein and vitamins to stay healthy
Low calorie sweets...ginger snaps, fig bars, 100% juice popsicles
Drink plenty of water
Drink milk or juice/water with every meal (no soda pop)
Stay away from munchies, fried & fatty foods.
Cardio exercise is great, but most people don't continue for an extended period, do "daily" simple exercise like walking/hiking, biking and swimming are low impact, play games like basketball, baseball, or volleyball will help to lose weight, tone your body, make new friends and you'll have fun doing it.

Hey, I felt the same a few weeks ago, until I decided to go on a ''HEALTHY DIET'' ...what i did was just drink 1,5 to 2 litres of water a day,3 healthy meals a day, plenty of exercise and a treat once a week,(ALREADY LOST 2.2 LBS IN A WEEK). Really, this isn't hard,I am enjoying it! I love these healthy meals(they don't have to be 100% healthy meals, have a little sugar/fat or even a little chocolate in them about once or twice a week so you don't miss your treats) and I also love exercising, and I feel far more active than I did a few weeks ago..i know you might think 'Nah, don't feel like doing this' but seriously this is actually the easiest and COOLEST way to lose weight and keep it off !

I don't care what all the fat fans say, being fat is not good for health, clothes do not hang right, and it does feel so depressing. What I did (and I put weight on looking at cake!!) is to give myself an incentive. First of all, I shave my legs, get hair styled, paint nails, wear lovely makeup and perfume and WEAR CLOTHES WHICH FIT YOU NOW = so you don't feel uncomfortable. Then buy a beautiful dress or pair of jeans and top and hang them up so you have to look at them every day, and think how fabulous you will look in them. get the help of a very good friend and DONT BE LAZY about cutting alll the crap from your diet, because thats whats causing the weight, not healthy food. When I got fat, I was diagnosed with clinical depression, thats how bad being overweight affected me. Be good to yourself and good luck. You will feel marvelous when you lose weight.

To lose weight, a person has to reduce the calorie intake by some amount by modifying their diet. A diet without sufficient nutrients will only increase the appetite of the person trying to lose weight. Since most people combine a diet with an exercise plan, additional nutrients are required for the growth of muscles required to increase the metabolic rate required for long term weight loss. Weight watchers is really good, I'm doing it at the moment, you can eat what you want as long as you stay within your points limit. I won't try to explain the points system as it would take too long, but its so simple, belive me if i can follow it any one can!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also joined a gym last week and i was always anti-gyms but i love it!!!!! I won't pretend going to the gym is easy but you feel a great sense of satisfaction when you've finished.
Don't give up, just think of the rewards and how great you'll feel and look when you lose the weight.
Good luck.

Patience is a virtue. I bet you getting bored cause you not losing the weight as fast as you wish to. It could be that you are happy with the weight you are and peer pressure is wanting you to lose weight.
For what it is worth in you taking this in but i had a Yellow Apatite pendant once. After two months i noticed my trousers were so big i could take them off without opening them! It is meant to suppress the apetite and consequently can help you lose weight.

i just walked and laid off the sweets no eating after 7 pm
i used to weight 215 and now i am down to 150 that isn't a bunch but i just go walking with the kids about 3 times a week
It has made a big difference in my energy level
If you have kids just take them to the park and walk around with them
I get really bored easily and this was something i stuck with
When it is raining i got a treadmill to walk on so you just have to find what you are comfortable with doing and stick it

As Angel has already said, Weight Watchers is great as you don't have to cut anything out of your diet as long as you stick to your points. If you want to eat something that is fairly high in points (chocolate, crisps, cheese etc) then you can, it just means that you will need to use less points for your meals. You can also save points over a few days if you have an occasion where you know you may eat/drink more than your points allowance (birthday, night out etc).

I have just read your other answers that you have posted and you seem like a really nice, caring person....I gather you are already on Weight watchers by your other post and your obviously bored with it. Maybe you should do some form of exercise that gets you out the house and fills your time and helps you meet people...walking, jogging, joining keep fit classes..then again if your anything like me this just wont rock your boat either...I like the fitness videos that are more like dance routines and i push all the furniture out the way in my living room and me a nd my 6 yr old bop all round the living room!!! She doesnt know why i'm doing it she thinks were just dancing and in fact we are!!!
Good luck my love, maybe you just need to love yourself more and accept yourself.....

Dear Sact,

There is little point in being despondent. Try joining a gym and taking in plenty of fresh air and exercise. Your G.P can provide you with subsidised membership details and assess your feelings relating to unhappiness, but above all, it's an attitude.

Have the greatest of days and think positive!

Good luck.

James.
