Yes you would gain the weight back of course. Its just like any diet...when you stop dieting you gain the weight back. The special k diet is not healthy. What is healthy is eating 6 small meals a day it boosts your metabolism. Also cutting out 250 calories and burning another 250 calories through exercise. When you remove those 500 calories daily you will lose at least 1-2 lbs a week. Drink water. No soda or juices (eat fruit instead of fruit juice.) Eat complex carbs not simple carbs. At each small meal you shoul have some protein and complex carbs together. Usually people eat 3 meals a day... cut those portions in half and eat 6 times a day instead.

Personally, I don't think the Special K diet is very healthy. I prefer the natural diet where you can eat all the fruits and veggies you want. Lean protein and low carbs. Simple and healthy eating for the rest of your life.

I think obesity is caused by high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) being it's in everything from bread to most cereals (special k?) and especially sodas!. I quit this ingredient and lost weight, but I still eat very good, I just watch my food labels.

Don't you ever wonder how children are getting fat? They don't eat that much, but yet they are gaining weight. A diet high in HFCS is definitely fattening and kids LOVE soda...

u mean the 2 bowls a day thing? Not sure-The reason it works is cuz its like 300 cals a bowl so basically ud have 600 cals in 2 meals and add in ur dinner and ull still be under ur cal limit.I guess if u just watch what u eat after it u wont gain !!

On the other hand i dont know anyone whos tried it-It could be a marketing ploy-2 bowels a day for 2 weeks-How many boxes of special k would ya have to buy for that!!!

To lose weight, a person has to reduce the calorie intake by some amount by modifying their diet. A diet without sufficient nutrients will only increase the appetite of the person trying to lose weight. Since most people combine a diet with an exercise plan, additional nutrients are required for the growth of muscles required to increase the metabolic rate required for long term weight loss.
