My Sims2 game keeps crashing and old people when they die are still on family list?

I tried downloading the patch it has not helped has anyone got any other ideas

Have you resently downloaded an 'add on' or new object this could be a problem as it might not be compatiable, if you can't get an help here try going to the sim forum website. http://thesims.ea.com/

I don't know about the old people dieing... as for the crashing - try download the latest drivers for your system. Make sure your specs are at least the minimun required. Make sure you have the latest directX to.
