always turn an email sexual on here, all i can say is thank god they dont give our home emails out, have any of you girls had this problem?

because most men beleive that once they have started to talk to a woman that listens, the woman fancies them! Especially if you laugh at them, all men are insecure and any sign of interest normally gets them roused. also because most men find sexual humour funny as its just so simple and easy for example, take a relatively boring sentence and it can be taken with a double-entendre "just thought id slip that in"...hopefully its not just me, by the way, can i have your number... tehe

not ALL men are like that!! I find it insulting when you apply all men because I am not THOSE men!!!
You can block them out by giving those answers a negative response, or report it (the flag looking icon).
I guess a lot of guys come on here and be jerks... as for the others... they come on here to help people, from this question to more serious, personal ones.

Most definitely. I answer a question on here and then right away I have someone emailing me or IMing me. They "want to talk" to me. I agree that it is a bunch of BS. The way I see it is if I wanted to talk to you I would.

I've emailed people from here, sometimes we end up talking for months. Sometimes it's sexual and sometimes we just chat and catch up but it's always just a bit of fun and if someone annoys you just ignore them, if they outright abuse you then report them!

I have come to the conclusion all the men on the net are sex staved. You go into a chat room for a friendly chat and all the men want to do is have cybersex. You start chatting via e-mail and the 2nd mail is sex related.

i think its your avatar they are attracted to. its common knowledge that men are visual so are best wooed with s*xy pics and outfits and women are best wooed with words.
Edit: regarding how you can stop it, try hiding your email address or contact details in your public profile so that even if they want to contact you direct they can't. the only way they can communicate with you is on this forum via the q/a format and any abuse/harassment can be reported.

yup I think we've all gotten those mails at some time or another - thankfully theres some really decent guys - and girls - that mail to say nice things though - you just gota take the rough with the smooth!
