If you are claiming any benefits, this used to be able to be done by the social. Initially, I think they paid for the test to be done, then if it was proved to be the person you had suggested it was and you were going to claim maintenance, they would then charge the baby's father the cost of the test.

I recall this happening to someone I knew around 7 years ago, but things may have changed.

Other than that, you can buy a DNA kit on line.

Type in your search DNA Home Kit and loads will come up, but I have attached the UK one, for you to browse through.

What is the DNA test for? Most doctors won't just order one unless there is a medical reason for one.

Depends on what kind of DNA your after or looking for .One just for your own peace of mind or a legal Type that will hold up in court.

you can go online and get numbers to call just go under DNA testing and you should find some.....or check the yellow pages.....i know they ran around $500 back in 1997...
