First of all what type of work are you doing. If you are working with food, and have hep c then you shouldn't work there. If they did not know about you health problems before they hired you, they can not fire you for what you have. Ask why your hours have been lowered, if you have not been written up or oral warning that means your doing fine at work. If you always getting tired go back to your doctor and tell her or him if there is any vitaming supplement he can give you. I myself have Bi-polar, and I'm a medical and lab assistant. I was not ask if I had any health problems before I was hired, if they find out and they do. I and You Have A Major Law Suite. Also are you taking your medication regularly. That a big plus. If you do get fired because of the bi-polar and you have proof that was the reason why. You can qualify for disability. I myself have it. And like I said you can sue your employer. Good Luck.

Hey Deborah D.

I just want to help, my wife had Hep C and was cured. Did some research and found that in Germany they've been curing this for 20 years. Further checking I found there was a clinic in Mexico by a Nobel prize winning doctor (Dr. William Hitt). One can also find treatment in New York. It's called Ozone therapy. American medicine isn't always about curing, it's about treating the symptoms.

In the following book you'll find what foods will give you more energy too ... so get yourself together and get well.

You have HCV...this can cause a disruption in the chemical balance, therefore, as a side effect or bi-directional disease you have depression and bi-polar illness.

Your employer needs to know. If they fire you because of it, then you have something to stand on. You then would qualify for un-employement.

As for disability, you most likely wont be approved for two years. I would call the SS administration and get your paperwork going.

Good Luck!

For the most part, you can not be fired for those Issues, but they can find other reasons to let you go.

Make sure you have all your paperwork in order, from your doctor documenting your illnesses.

Talk to HR, and let them know your concerns, and if you have a Psychologists, get them to document also.

Document...Document...Document.
