My daughter is 18 months old, and for the past week has been spitting up once a day. It isnt much, but it still concerns me. She doesnt seem sick in any way. Should i worry about this, or is she still young enough that its nothing major to worry over?

That should have stopped a long time ago. I would take her to the doctor. Also, have you noticed that she does this after eating a particular food? Milk, yougart, cheese, etc? Or if she does it after a particular activity? Running, jumping, rolling around, etc? Mention these things to the doctor. Any trends taht you notice could be helpful in finding out the cause. Good luck!

Well, first off, does it seem to happen after she has eaten? Maybe she is over eating? My daughter did this for a short time also around this age, but she developed reflux at around 2 days old(she was a preemie). It cleared up around 8 months and was no longer a problem only to return, although not as bad, months later. I would suggest that you seek a Dr.'s advice just to be sure if the over eating is not a problem. Good luck!

Like everyone said, see a doctor. It seems that spit-up usually stops by the time the baby is a year old, if not earlier. Get it checked out - if it turns out it's nothing then it's no big deal, but you don't want to ignore it and have it turn out to be something that could be addressed.

I would consult her Pediatrician. 18 months is a little old to be "spitting up", especially since it sounds like it just started. May be reflux.
