You may have to pull your "responsible, mature adult" suit out of the closet for this one... Or, be honest, hope your daughter is understanding and also... hope the 20 year old feels the same way... Or... even better... You can just continue to fantasize about her... keep that thrilll alive!

And what do you mean when you say your daughter HAD a best friend? She isnt best friends with her anymore??

Honey, you need to start hanging around with people your own age. Remember, it's your daughter's friend. While you probably have a good relationship with your daughter, she's not your contemporary, she's your daughter. How do you think she'd feel if she found out? Walk away while you still can and go find someone your own age, quickly.

Are you married or divorced??? Or do you have a serious girlfriend?? If you're single then it's natural to fall in love with something no matter that person is your daughter's friend (means without age limit). But if you're married and thinking of somebody else then it might be a problem.

This really isn't all that tough.

All you have to do is think of your daughter's best interest. Put aside your feelings for her for your daughter's "best interest." Even though you say you're "in love," you need to let this one go. There will be plenty of other women. Plus, think of how awkward things would be for your daughter and her BEST friend if you confessed how you feel. Plus, if I was your daughter, I'd feel embarressed that my father did that to my best friend.

I think you are probably "in lust" with her, but who knows? I think the situation can't be good either way; you need to find someone not only closer to your own age but who is not a friend of your daughters. It could ruin your relationship with her and that should be more important to you than her friend.

Is your wife still with you? If so you need to reassess your priorities. If not I think you should try to go for it. Some women actually like older men.

1) Admit to yourself that you're not in love with her, you just want to bang her.
2) Think in realistic terms: You want her because she's young and possibly hot. She doesn't want you because your old and probably fat.
