I am having mine at a Greek restaurant where we can dance and throw plates if we want to but are there any games we should play and do people bring something. My bridesmaid heard that there are games you play ie you have to say a funny story about each guest and then drink a shot of alcohol. Ideas please.

there is no structure to a hen night. you just do what you want to do.

i.ve been to a few but we've never bought presents or played games.

we just went to a night club danced dressed up the bride to b in a veil and l plates so people know it's her night and just had fun.

good luck with yours.
do what ever will make you happy and enjoy your night.

remember that not all your guests may be able to afford a gift aswell as a wedding gift.

you can buy a hen night pack from ann summers if you want some fun take a look at it .

another idea is to make up a list of things that the woman getting married has to do that night like
kiss 5 men,
get a man to give you an item of clothing
get some one to buy her a drink

etc, think of about 10 things, thats always a laugh.
good luck, have a long and happy marraige x

You could get each guest to write out a dare and put it in a hat, then you have to fulfil each dare through the night and if not....choose a forfeit such as downing a shot. You should have a couple of "pass on" cards that you can pass for a friend to do and one "bin it" card which you can use if any of the dares are super extreme!!

Hope you have fun. We did this at my sister's hen do and we had a scream.

You could also do a theme for people to dress up to ie Greek robes or 70s theme. If people are on a budget you could get some bunny ears for each person or some badges.

Have fun!

There are several games you can play, on my hen night we played-
Photo match which you have to get your photo taken with certain people (Police man, man wearing a pink shirt, a bouncer of a club, another hen etc etc) then mark them off a card.

Kiss & tell you have to convince a man to put on lipstick then kiss a page in a notebook & sign it!! Men qued up to wear my lipstick!!!

Another game we played which was really funny was to see how many pairs of mens underwear we could get, I got 8 pairs & other got 6 or 7. It takes alot of convincing & begging but it's so funny. We decorated the last club we were at with the mens underwear!!!

I hope you have loads of fun, it's your one chance before you're married to act wild & free!!!!!

the last hen night I went to all the guests had to bring a present that when the bride opened it, she would know who had given it. Something personal to their individual friendships. It was really funny and doesn't have to be expensive. Have fun and good luck with the wedding. x

Isn't it up to your mates to sort this out and make it a night full of fun and suprises for you??? How about nominating two or more girls in your party to go and 'collect' certain items from people...ie the usual predictable stuff...kisses, items of clothing, a drink..etc etc you can be as daring or as tame as you want to be...the winner, obviously, is the one who gets all or the most things on the list...loser - down in one of the most disgusting cocktail you can imagine!!!

Go to Anne Summers shop...they sell party packs for 'hen nights' that are absolutely brilliant!!!! They contain flash cards for dares and truths stuff like that and drinking games etc...all you need to do is follow the directions in the pack and you will have a great night......I,promise...

All I can suggest is that if you are going to be drinking, don't plan this for the night before you get married. Do it a few days in advance, you don't want a hangover on your wedding day.
