Is that supposed to be funny. Anyway, if you are really wondering, Islam is the religion and a muslim is a member of islam. Here's a question: what's the difference between Christianity and Christian? It's a language thing. In arabic, it doesn't look the same.

Islam translated means 'submission to the will of Allah/God'
This is why Islam claims to be a religion for mind kind, a religion to reunite the world - unfortunately the west is playing with their emotions by winding them up. Muslims need to understand their religion - the Holy Prophet of Islam would not have reacted they way your are - Sort it out!!!
