Say if im suffering from viral infection, and i m prescribed for jaundice, will i get jaundice then?

No, the medicine doesn't give you an illness. It treats symptoms. The only time you actually get an illness with medicine is with innoculations - immunization shots.
If you get the wrong medicine, you should see a doctor though, because you don't want to take the right medicine on top of the wrong medicine. There may be drug interactions and side-effects of both.

No you shouldn't and chances are you do have a slight jaundice that the doctor noticed and so they prescribed the medication to help. It shouldn't get worse it should either be preventing or making the jaundice better.

A fever is a symptom of something, so it is unlikely you are prescribed medicine for a fever. They have 'fever reducers' like tylenol to take care of that.

However, If you take an antibiotic because you have bronchitis or something, then you're not going to get it.

No, what you will get is a possible trip to the hospital and a
huge bill. The upside to this is you can then sue the idiot
who perscribed the meds. or at least an entry into the 'dolt
of the year' award .

Yes. If you take aspirin, you will get a headache, and if you take cough syrup, you will get a cold.
