I love a man who can make me laugh, and at the same time be serious about life. A man who can think for himself, and not always have to depend on me for help. A man who will still open the door for me after 3 years, a man who says bless you when I sneeze. Everyone has different qualities they look for in a man. A man needs to be able to listen, and not be afraid of talking about problems. A man who is down to earth, and thinks it's funny when you accidentally burp, or a fart slips through and he can make you feel good about it, by saying little things like "I think I heard thunder, we're going to get a storm". Just an all together DOWN TO EARTH man. There is no perfect woman and no perfect man.

It depends. Some women like the "macho" type. Others seek out gentler, more sensitive types. Some look for "Daddy" (older men.) Many factors enter in to our preferences. Some are not even aware of why they choose these certain types of mates.

Its hard to generalise as women like all types of blokes.
But on a personal level I like funny sharp witted guys who are honest and sincere, a sense of humour is first on my list of preferences.
