Knowledge and temptation. Snakes have a very important meaning in dreams. In ancient Egypt the snake was a symbol of rebirth (because it sheds it's skin). A snake opened knowledge to man in the garden of eden; therefore, the snake also means knowledge. It also indicates the cycle of life, which id why a snake is used as a symbol in medicine. A snake appearing with a staff (Caduceus) indicates that you are about to help someone else out. The snake is a strong is a strong phallic or sexual symbol and ina dream can represent the dreamer's libido, showing the repression of one's seual feelings. This is particually ture if you dream you have a snake coiled around you. To dream of being chased by a snake may mean that you sare scared of the seual advantages of someone else. To be biten by a snake indicates that you have a fear of a sexual liason. If someone resuces you from the snake then this could indicate that that you are longing for a relationship with that person. If you dream of handling snakes then this mean that you are conquering your fears. The type of snake you see will also indicate th etyp eof fear you have. Th bigger the sanke the bigger the problem you have. For example if you see a cobra this indicates that a problem is fast aproaching and you need to manouver very quickly to reslove it. I have a dream book and this is what it tells me there is much more so if you need any more help please dont hesiatate to email me so i can help you so more. Hope i have helped you!

I have read that the best interpreter of a dream is actually the dreamer themselves! For you know your inner self & workings better than anyone. In old texts snakes usually are an indication of sexual issues...could be that you are simply curious about sex, want more sex or that you dont want sex or even have a fear of sex. It would be helpful to know more details about your dream, to grasp a better understanding. Look at what you were doing, what the snakes were doing, how many snakes were there (numbers are often very symbolic & important)? do you recall any other of of your feelings or senses in your dream...were you fearful or not? could you smell, taste or touch anything? You might find it helpful to begin a Dream Journal. To do this it is best to keep your journal & pencil by your bed, so that you may begin to write BEFORE you do anything else. Often dream journaling actually helps to improve the memory of our dreams & also, over time (when going back to review dreams) a bigger picture can be seen, where the dreams together form a more complete message for you...kinda like putting together a jig saw puzzle! Dream journaling also has a therapeutic affect for many people too & most people find this to be fun & very enjoyable & informative. I hope this helps! Sweet Dreams!

It has been said that snakes in dreams symbolize deceit. So, if that is true for you... You may have felt that you have been deceived by someone in your life and you are afraid the deceit will harm you . You are likely feeling clouded by a perceived evil in your life and you don't know how to escape it. You are searching for a way to get past that feeling .
Snakes are often seen as symbols of life, death and rebirth. In North American native tribes, the shedding of the snake's skin is associated with life and a new beginning.
In writing about Snake Symbolism, Gillian Holloway, Ph.D. wrote, "People who are dying or who have lost a loved one often dream of snakes, at or near the time of death. For whatever reason, these dreams seem involved with the psychic awareness of the transition from this life to the next...."

Snakes often represent troublesome situations that are intimidating and disturbing. These situations are very complex, and it is difficult to deal with them, you might get hurt. Sometimes, a snake stands for your enemies who are threatening you. Seeing snakes in a pit is a bad luck dream, it reflects your fears and inability to control the situation, or someone is intimidating you or uses your moral standards to manipulate you. Some snake dreams have sexual implications. A single snake in the bedroom in a woman's dream may represent a man in her life or masculine energy that is creating power issues in the relationship.

Snakes can mean lots of things. It depends on the dream.
snakes = fear, sex
You may be into some sort of fear I would think. Not knowing the detail how the snakes act in your dream or what's your reaction in the dream. I would only say snakes represent fear of some sort.

To me it extremely is amazingly a adverse element. Black means loss of existence, and if the snake is going on your mouth then somewhat which means its attempting to choke you? If i grew to become into some variety of physcic then i might say you are going to die quickly, yet i would not DREAM of that coming actual! perhaps that's in user-friendly terms a piece, in any case I do wish your nasty targets go away x

To dream that you are handling a reptile without harm to yourself, signifies that you are letting the ill humor and bitterness of your friends bring you down. To see a snake or be bitten by one in your dream, may also signify hidden fears and worries that are threatening you. Your dream may be alerting you to something in your waking life that you are not aware of or that has not yet surfaced. The snake may also refer to a person around you who is callous, ruthless, and can't be trusted. As a positive symbol, a snake is indicative of self-renewal and positive changes!

If you dream of a snake attacking you, beware! You close friend or somebody will become your enemy.... as in will betray you or make you feel bad (BAD LUCK) But if you were able to kill the snake, you will be lucky and get a lottery ticket. For sure, you will win! (GOOD LUCK)

I don't believe the so called dream dictionaries - they all contradict each other.
Have you been unhappy or stressed recently? Perhaps this is presenting its self through the snakes in your dreams.
