In alot of cases it`s just a polite way of saying I really dont want you in my life. Some will try the easy let down and call it a separation, merely thinking of the others feelings. When others will come right out get the face of the other and tell them as it is It`s Done, Over, Caputt, Don`t call me or ever come around me again.
Separation is just that, the delivery or packaging is just diiferent for different people. But yes a person usually means it when they reach the point of verbalizing it.
Good luck and God Speed to you today.

When she asks for separation that means she needs her space. Only the time element can determine wether she is dead serious about it or is willing to still give it a chance. if she takes too long, it means she really wants it...

cz if the guy refuses to break up, the girl then knows that the guy is attached more to her.. so she'll know that he wants her and never to lose!

if she asked you for a break then it is what she wants altough I do not personally believe in these kind of breaks.
