You are right, Islam is the only religion that believes in Christianity and Judaism, yet they claim Muslims have no tolerance! While Christians and Jews constantly attack Islam publicly and tolerate no reaction whatsoever!

They might call themselves christians, But they really fundamenatally are not. From what I know of Jesus, he (as a person), wasn't really an intolerant guy. He was pretty nice and not into hurting people.
This is a Big problem with the organization of religion in general.
The message gets distorted to serve someone.
Each religion wants say to it's followers... Hey, Join us! We have the truth... those other religions are the wrong or incorrect choice. Almost every major religion claims to have all the answers. That also includes, why their particular sect is the right one.
So, why would an institution want to loose it's followers to other institutions? - it wouldn't, it would tell you not to believe someone elses view, and to try to "save them" ;have them join their religion.
All very nasty business of the closed minds if you ask me.
The sad thing is-
Muhammad and Jesus really were great people. They had Ideas that were exemplary, If more people strived to think as far outside of the box (and act accordingly) as they did, they really could have changed the world.
But people didn't change. people are scared of change and the HATE even admitting that they are in an ideological box to think outside of.
This is why messages get misappropriated.
This is why one Organized religion hates another.
Because at the end of a the day, it's one competitive institution competing against another, with complete disregard for any of the core values the institution was founded on.

It is the nature of religions to be intolerant of each other. One of the things that makes a religion attractive is the sense of community of its adherents -- the "I'm in, but you're not" idea, giving one some feeling of superiority. The Thirty Years War did a fairly good job of convincing Christians of various flavors that killing each other over religion was really not a good idea, but other conflicts have not had as happy a conclusion.

Qu'ran is the only Book that says -- People of the Book -- including christians, jews and muslims. and it is the only Book that embraces the other two. so all the people -- irrespective of their faith are accepted in Islam -- as long as they do good deeds and help others.
if someone does commit sins and atrocities -- be it a muslim or any follower of a religion -- they all will be given the same punishment on Day of Judgement.
we all will be judged based on our Deeds not just for labeling ourselves with religion.

May be this is just the individual gossip of an individual view! It is nothing to do with any of the religious faith! What ever religions we have, they teach Four important principles that guides our daily life:
1. Prescribed Religious Prayer - Respect to parents and elders.
2. Tell what do you do and do what do you tell!
3. Preach love and condemn hatred
4. Love, feed and support those who require them
I feel, Hell and Heaven are in our Earth itself!
Daily, we are noticing it and we know they are not far away places!

Not all Christians are anti-Islam (or at least have the common sense to separate good Muslims from Osama and Fiends).
As for the people you described, thats based really on the individual...they have been brought up to certain worldviews which would make them self-righteous towards others.

Well first, you aren't going to get out of this life alive. As for who says what, who cares. You have the right to believe what you feel is right for you. But I believe that some Islam religilous right way types have misinterpreted their religious writings to suit their own lives. I also believe some christian may have translated the teaching to their own liking at the time for political reasons too.

There is a huge difference between killing people who don't share your faith and having the belief that there's only one way to spend an eternity in fellowship with God.
Intolerant means refusing to tolerate the existence of any other belief system. Therefore those who kill "infidels" are intolerant while those who believe their belief system to be the only way to God are only intolerate if they attempt to exterminate nonbelievers.
I'm not saying all Muslims are intolerant, just that Islamic terrorists clearly are while Christian non-terrorists are generally tolerant.

Yes it is. Most mainstream religions that claim to be the "true religion" are intolerant of all others by default, otherwise they would not claim to be the one and only path to god.
