THeo - great question.
I think aggressive secularism is. There has never been such a time that the world has been so tolerant of sin. People used to know right from wrong. Our society has become very rude, disrespectful and and wrong has become right. We are very materialistic and selfish. Children are disrespectful. And if you spend any time on Yahoo Answers, Religion/Spirituality - you will see a variety of responses toward God. I am so sad to see how many people really hate Christ and his Church. I am a Christ follower.

Aggresive secularism in the form of liberalism and the democratic party leadership.
Remove this and America would be a wonderful place to live, crime would go down dramatically, abortion would go away, homosexuals would see their sin, political correctness would vanish and people could be honest.
Their would be a spiritual awakening and people would start to work together in love. The racial devide would narrow and laws would be inforced.
Education would be real and geared toward need not regulation. People would stop to help others in need instead of fear those on the side of the road.
Society (secularist) says all views are good, everyone has a right to not only their opinion but to the life they wish. Their is not really a right or a wrong view point. Every thing is dependent upon your situation.
This is silly, their is a right and a wrong side in everything, it is crazy to think otherwise. How can both sides of an argument be right, how can a straight foward problem have two correct answers.
2+2=4 unless you are from California then it's 4.25. Sin is sin unless you went to college then it's just a choice or a lifestyle.

i think it is ignorance.beyound being called a religion, christianity is a way of life, God's kind of life.it is an invincible life, indestructible, self sufficient and ageless.somebody can take any aspect of the bible and discredit it but that does not change the truth.someone can sanction a law prohibiting chritianity but he cant stop a christian from showing love and care to his neighbour, christianity is all about love, sharing and caring.it is a light that must shine and no darkness can overcome it. so i say ignorance because it is when people don't know what christianity stands for and the potency in it that they may feel threatened.

Muslims are no longer the wonderful probability to earth. I hate those blanket statements. undesirable Muslims are a probability. undesirable Christians and undesirable Jews are besides. What if I purely stated - Israeli Jews are the wonderful probability to earth? i could be stoned. As a Muslim i will say with self belief - we don't hate Christians. they are our brothers and sisters of the e book. There are some necessities we don't agree on, however the flaws we do agree on are the incontrovertible fact that all and sundry humanity has the impressive to stay in peace. Muslims (and that i'm conversing approximately your properly-known Sunni Muslim) do no longer sell hate crimes, speeches, detesting of all people's subculture, worry mongering, and quite no longer terrible scientific care of animals. On a part bar - Muslims are forbidden to consume animals who're slaughtered in an inhumane way. and you assert "our subculture" what subculture is that? Are you speaking relating to the godless, capitalist, step on your neighbor to get his abode subculture? Yeah, it is detested. yet maximum folk interior the international are unlike that. additionally, Muslims are no longer based in places like Iran or Pakistan. those places are frightening, and their leaders are much extra frightening. There are American Muslims and there are Arab Christians - please do no longer make the blunders of combining faith and race or subculture. And - if Iran gets the bomb, it is God's will. in case you talk to a thoroughly religious follower of Roman Catholicism, Iran getting "the bomb" is a factor of the prophecy in Revelation. The could is meant to end in or around Jerusalem.

Conservative Christians . Their aggressive fundamentalism alienates people who would otherwise take an interest in Christianity and discredits the Christian faith. Christians are worrying about external threats when they should be worried about the enemy within.

I think the biggest threat to Christianity is itself. So few Christian try to emulate Christ and instead thump the bible. A lot have forgotten the true message of their faith.

Now, I think that the Pope itself is a threat to Christianity because of his comments on Muslims .........................Pope is creating a problem between Christians & Muslims by quoting some quotes of some Old Emperor. Pope should think twice before he quotes anything to anyone ! After all he is the head of a religion and he should not commit a mistake !

I think Christians will be their own downfall. To many have left humility far behind and have started trying to Judge instead of leaving it to God. They have tried to met out punishment instead of leaving it to God. They have preached a word that is heavy with misconception and human error and preach it to the masses, who interpret it as truth, instead of following Gods word.
Christians will ultimately be their own down fall.
