IBM VIA Voice

I have used it for the past 4-5 Years. Works pretty good after it learns your voice.

Hi friend , actually there are loads speech recognition softwares, available as of now which can type in what you dictate. I am not sure if you are aware even in microsoft word , we have this feature open Microsft word and then tools menu, select speech, this is the tool you need to use to make your system type what you dictate. There are couple of other speech recognition softwares which can open directories , delete files etc....

If you have Micro$oft office it has been able to do it since 2003.
Open Word, Go to tools then speech, then follow directions. I think only the pro-version does this, but you should still check anyway if the non-pro version will do it.
I have been using it for a few years now.
There is also a browser that you can dictate to and have it do whatever. Its Free

Rather soon i think. I just saw a clip of Microsoft given an example of this very thing. He was doing a demonstration for Word i think. He was just talking and the computer was typing the words. It didn't work so well hahaha, but its definetly in the development stage.
