Of course breeders are "weird" about it. They spend loads of time, money, etc... on caring for their purebred dogs--why let them father mutts?
And why are you breeding your dog? Surely not for money, because guaranteed you'll shell out more than you'll ever get back. And surely not for her sake, because repeated heat cycles, pregnancy and whelping is very hard on dogs, especially small breeds. And hopefully not because you believe those ridiculous myths that female dogs "need" to experience motherhood or that having a litter will "settle them down" and make them a better dog.

are you able to? canines can and could mate with one yet another, in spite of breed. Breed isn't the comparable as species. could desire to you? in case you probably did no longer the answer to such an obtrusive question then you extremely would not understand what to look for if your dam grew to become into having birthing issues, might you? Have some 1000's laying around for what it expenses to take the canines to a vet in case you do spot the signs and indications or is dispensing a pair hundred and getting a clean canines advantageous and dandy for you?

Hopefully you can't find someone willing to breed your mix. Delibrately breeding a mix is irresponsible no matter where you live.
Also by breeding your toy mix you put her at risk for all kinds of problems some of which can prove fatal.Toy breeds are very prone to pregnancy, whelping complications, have small litters, have a high rate of stillborn puppies, etc.
If you decide to breed despite the warning then she should have health testing done (don't know how prevelant that is in your country, but in the US it is desired in order to reduce the risks of genetic defects)

Why ever would you want to breed mutts on purpose? Is there a big mutt shortage down under?
The breeders are not being "weird", it is called being ethical and responsible.

My advice to you is buy your own male dog.
Your probably not going to find a professional breeder to breed her for you.
