Perhaps if you had earned your right to a college education the legal way ,you wouldn't be quite so defensive .You and your parents were given a free ride, unless your parents paid social security ,then they only paid sales tax ,not income tax.The income tax that all legal people pay .is what supports this Nations infrastructure, the bridges, the highways ,schools, hospitals etc.All things you and your parents used but didn't contribute to the building or maintenance of.The state income taxes are also an income tax and pay for things in that state. You got a free ride ,one that your parents took because it was easier than doing things the legal way. They are illegal in this country its a fact not what you choose to call it.
Now to the issue of people coming to the New World, you really need that college education, because you don't have your "facts" right. The so called native Indian (called that by Columbus ,because he thought he had landed in India)
was not indigenous to this land, having migrated across the Bering Strait from another Continent. So they were not the owners of this land. When the first people came here they could not have been illegal since the first mass immigration laws were not pasted until 1924.So no one that came here before that could be illegal. No laws,no illegals. But there are laws and your parents broke those laws. That's not much to be proud of.And the fact that if your mother was legal she wouldn't have had to work at the same job for 20 years for minimum wages.she could have made more money as a legal immigrant.I know you are a loving child to your parents, and rightly so but you may put any name you wish to on it ,but its still a crime and its still illegal. And being a criminal is not something to be proud of.My parents worked all their lives,I graduated college and none of us were illegal.
No Amnesty
Deportation not legalization of illegals from any nation.
And Sherona a mind is a terrible thing to waste.
I live in Phoenix and we are over run by illegals, but we are changing our state/city laws and it wont be quite so easy to live in Phoenix and be illegal.
And illegals are a drain on the economy, not a help.I can give you facts and figures on that one all day long,so thats a lie also. You people really need to look beyond your own selfish needs ,you are not helping this country and you dont care, you have nothing invested in America so you dont give a damn about it ..
You are a drain on America.GO HOME fix your own country.

Just a few. The "native Americans' took this land by force and they didn't have visas either.
You mother on minimum wage could not afford medical bills and college - you are taking benefits - I suppose you received full scholarships.
A child of an illegal is a citizen if born here, don't concern yourself, we are fixing that.
Much produce is outsourced to cheap Chilean labor, you are being replaced.

YOU are biased because of your identification with illegal immigrants who, by the way, are a minority. And everyone knows that minorities trend toward stronger emotions re their position in society - even though logic may not be on their side. NO country in the world wecomes lawbreakers with open arms (And illegals are lawbreakers - U.S. laws!) Australia was setlled by convicted expatriates but, even so, prohibit the entry of convicts or lawbreakers into their country. Because of a loophole in the law you became a citizen of the U.S. Show your loyalty by condemning lawbreakers who do not follow the legal procedures to obtain U.S. citizenship. It's your duty.

How many of our own kids don't get to go to college, and how many advantages from the system (in-state tuition, grants, scholorships, funded k-12 education) did you get that should have been money spent on THEM?
We don't have endless education resources and our schools are failing our own children. Why should the children of illegals be able to use education funding and take spots in college they need? We have our own poor, and our system is set up for them, not for you.
That isn't racist, either. Did you learn what that word MEANT in college?
And we got the land as the Native Americans did to begin with, and built the country, schools and economy people are running to. We fund things like your very expensive education, and have a right to say how many people we want to pay for at the expense of our own people.
Poor people don't pay nearly as much in taxes as they use in services. We are willing to subsidize our own poor people, but not the poor of the world. Their better life is at our expense, and our children are paying the biggest cost with degraded eduction.

1. Well, they are required NOW.
2. Good for your mother. She is a rare gem.
3. So, you are saying that your mother snuck into the US to give birth to you so that you would be born a citizen? Don't thank your mother. That is possible because of the US government. Thank them by OBEYING THE LAW.
4. So, you are here LEGALLY. Good for you.
5. I WILL COMPLAIN ABOUT ANYONE WHO BREAKS THE LAW. A lot of people just don't get this. JUST DO IT LEGALLY.
NO ONE IS JUSTIFIED BREAKING THE LAW. I am glad you are doing it the right way. Go to college and make a wonderful life for yourself. But, remember, no one is above the law. As a US citizen, you should agree.

Good for you, now when you pass the bar you can defend the millions of them when we start sending them back. Come here legally. As for early settlers invading native American Indian lands, What do you think your ancestors did in Mexico? Buy it from the Aztecs?

i agree wholeheartedly. These people act like America belongs to them, as u said they invaded the native land by force. If these 'illegal immigrants' are not causing any trouble and are building up ur economy u should be thankful.
