Give it a few years and they will both find that they equally hate Jews - - - - truly Muslims & Evangelicals should be on the same page - - - they are gung ho for sex that produces children and against activity that they think threatens the production of children, i.e gay sex - - - they don't like cigerettes & alcohol - - - they truly are soul mates

We are living in an era in which the world is desperately in need of peace, friendship, and solidarity. Despite the urgent need for solidarity and cooperation, certain circles are inciting conflict, particularly conflict between the world's two greatest and deep-rooted civilizations. One of the best ways of preventing the disastrous war of civilizations is to strengthen the dialogue and cooperation between these civilizations. This is not a hard task, as there are no fundamental differences between Islam and the Judeo-Christian western world. This dialogue and alliance will be based on the sincere believers' quest for justice, peace, and support for all people. This alliance will be one of the main contributing factors to tranquility at a time when Prophet Jesus' (peace be upon him) second coming is expected.

Bismillah (In the name of God)There are a number of beliefs that Christians and Muslims have in common. For example we both believe in common prophets, Adam, Noah, Moses, Abraham, and many others. Many of the stories in the bible are also in the Qur'an. A belief in one God is shared. Also, Muslims and Christians share a high Respect for Jesus... although they have a different view of his role. I would strongly suggest that if you truly want to know more about this that you read an English translation of the Qur'an (the Yusuf Ali translation is the most accurate one). The reason for many conflicts between Muslims, Christians, and Jews is because the majority of people are so ignorant to their common beliefs.

The truth and a lie can not share the same space.
Look at the latest, the pope (I'm not catholic) quotes a 14th century man and is told he must apologize by most of the muslim leaders. He makes an attempt to explain and those leaders say it is not enough, they are not violent, and if he does not apologize they will make us all convert or give us the sword.
How can you say I am not violent and if you don't agree I will cut off at the neck then expect people to think you are not violent?
Christianity teaches love and foregivness, wars have been fought using the name of Christianity but not because Gods wishes us to destroy each other, man can do that without Gods direction.
Christians would love to have everyone know Christ as their Lord, but it can not be forced. Salvation is a free gift, a free choice each person must make. How can you force someone to except a free gift?

Islam and Christianity believe in the same core beliefs, i.e. One God, of Noah, Moses, Adam, as messengers of God, that God had angels and has created all the world including Mankind.
I think that once people sit down and talk, and just find out about other religions, they will find that they all promote peace and tolerance.
If poeple focus on the similarities rather than the differences, there would be alot less conflict
May God guide us all.

Yes there is one thing they can share together with islam prophet muhammed.
The idol worshipping christians, muslims, and all other pagan worshipers together with muhammed the prophet of islam, will share the lake of fire for only one reason.
Romans 10 : 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Hebrews 2 : 3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?
Revelation 20 : 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

i think both groups should be more tolerant towards each other....i think everyone must understand the difference btw Radical Islam(which is bad) and Peaceful Islam....then there could be understanding btw Christianity and Islam.....
But i think the prejudice/ hatred come from the fact that the two religions hav similar roots but they diverge at a time of history...

Yes! I think Muslims and Christians should concentrate on doing good deeds and prepare themselves for the day of judgement, and book their place for life everlasting!
