I know there aren't restrictions for european countries but Iheard something about if your goin to america you arent allowed hand luggage?

Currently, there are some restrictions imposed by each airline. Each airline as well as the airport can impose stricter rules then what the US Transportation Security Administration has in place. To find out what each airlines' restrictions are, go to there websites.

As far as I know you are allowed to bring hand luggage if you are flying directly-if you are connecting in the UK there may be a problem. Just no sharp things etc as normal

I would check with the airline website - Some are still not allowing makeup or liquids.
