Not sure where to get a cover, just make sure it's safety rated. I wouldn't recommend trying to rig your own cover. You need to be able to un latch that seatbelt should there be an accident.

I have never heard of them nor have I seen anything of the sort. I would think placing a device over the button could cause a danger to the child in an accident where they would have to work through more to get the child out in the event of an accident. I would make sure the straps are snug fit around your daughter (she shouldn't be able to bend forward ) and if that doesn't work visit your local stores and find one a little more complicated.

I have a quick son, they cant open it, as they dont have the stength in their fingers. Also it is far harder to open the clasps from their side. Strap yourself in and try it!
