Chlamydia is only transmitted through sexual contact. However, that does not necessarily mean that your wife cheated on you. If she was sexually active with other men before you it is entirely possible that she has had it for a while and that she has just never experienced any symptoms. It is often a "silent" infection. That's certainly a possibility if you haven't been married for long. If, however, you have been married for a long while it's a little less likely and you may have been cheated on.
At any rate, it is a bacterial infection so it's easy to treat with antibiotics. Do let her know that you have it, however. She needs to get checked out pronto as it can cause damage to a woman's reproductive organs if left untreated.

well if u havent been cheating then u caught it from ur wife. this doesnt mean she cheated she could have had this a long time and never known about it. best thing to do is for both of u to go see gp and get treatment together, its nothing to be ashamed of.

don't listen to people who are saying your wife has cheated, she may well have but keep in mind that chlamydia can stay dormant in the female body for ten tears with no signs... you both need to get treated asap as it can cause infertility if its not treated.

ok, little lesson here, you can not get an std from a toilet seat or from your hand as one person put it. Hate to tell you but, your wife cheated on you. Ask your doctor if you dont believe me but 100 percent she cheated on you if you didnt cheat on her.

chlamydia is only transmitted through sex.
If your not having an affair then she most definitely is.
I would ask her to get tested and treated as soon as possible.
If the two of you choose to work things out I recommend the both of you getting tested again before having intercourse.

No. But she may have had it for ages, well before she met you, I read that there are no symptoms for this STD, but can make you infertile, so best tell her and get herself treated.
Urgggh...yuck.
