You'll get use to it, my husband was in the Marines and stationed there....Its just a new place with different cultures, go out exploring....

You have to figure out what you want. Living back home, or seeing your dad on a regular basis. No one else can tell you which one you want more. I can only tell you what I would do. I would stay in Japan. BUT I am also really close to my dad. If it was my mom that was in the force, I would go back home, because I'm not close to her. So it just depends on your situation.

I don't know where you live in Okinawa.

But how about to start from knowing Okinawa?

Why don't you visit Chatan town or Naha city?

What you should do is suck it up and make the best of it! Why do you hate it there? Are you afraid to try and learn new things? Do the Japanese people scare you? Quit being a whinner get off'n you butt and learn something!
