These are the best sources for classic car values.

There are a couple of questions that need to be answered to determine the value of your late father's car. The condition of the vehicle is going to make a lot of difference in the value. You say it was his "pride and joy", and that he drag raced it.

Is the car stock, with the original unmodified engine? is the body modified? Is the interior original? How many miles are on the car? Does it run well? What exact model is it?

Depending on the condition, and it being original or not the price can vary greatly. It could be worth $8000 or less or it could be worth $200,000 in show condition. Without seeing the car, it would be hard for me to tell!

Most Def wait and check out what they are selling at ebay auction and of corse Barret Auction but if it is like I think it is and the paint is good body is good along with the interior,( and if noy SPEND the time and money to make it that way. Spend 2000 and have the motor rebuilt if needed and you might get over 75 to 100,00 for it. and if you would be so lucky as to the only thing you would need to do is have a good detail job on it and if it has less than 75000 miles that can be documented, have the vin number decoded and do as much research on the info you get from the decode and compile as much info on this vehicle as possible and you might get 150 thousand for it. If production numbers are low for what it came with how could you be so lucky and why sell? it WILL keep appreciating evry year and in another ten could be worth double what it would bring today but number matching classic muscle cars with 4 speeds are bringing unheard of numbers right now, WOW wish I were to be in your shoes but you do have a very rare chyrsler on your hands set your price and don't budge on it. IT will bring whatever number you come up with sooner or later. ( By chance does it have the 6pack optio? ( 3-two barrell carbs?? If so add at least 2500 to 5000 more for that option

depends a lot on condition and some amount of timing. the market value can vary a great deal. Chek out e-bay motors for collectibles, due to the fact that this is a rarer type of car and very desireable with the mopar crowd. could be as little as 5 grand but as much as 30 grand. also check car trader magazine an online. clue: muscle car....$$$.
sorry to hear of you fathers passing.

Go to a bank or credit union and ask for the Kelly Gold (not blue) book - it is for older cars. Good Luck.
