Do not have unprotected sex (better yet have sex only in a monogamous relationship), do not mix body fluids with yours (blood, semen)and do not be born to a mother with AIDS.

Don't have unprotected sex better yet if you're still skeptical, don't have sex at all until you feel the time is right, but use protection at all times (condoms, stuff like that), and if you're worried, I'd suggest take a HIV/AIDS test. If you want to have sex without a relationship, I guess try a friend with benefits, but has to be one you can trust, and the one who's clean.

<>Never have unprotected sex. This is the best advice (short of abstinence, which guarantees no AIDS) for protection against most STDs.

Do not have sex with strange people, and use protection if you do. Best refrain from that sort of sex as condoms are not 100%.
