Try another gas station or try putting a better grade in it. It sounds like u got some bad gas.

Check for an oil leak. Tapping in the engine means friction. It could also be a loose belt. Either way it needs to be seen by a professional before it gets expensive.

Sounds to me like you have a lifter gone bad and will not hold pressure for the pushrod that usually where these kind of noises arrive from. Do it wright and replace all the lifters,check your pushrods for damage and the same if you need to replace 1 do them all and might as well upgrade both to achieve a few more HP and greater reliability. Check your engine Oil level if you have not done so already , It may be low ?
