My boss has come into the office with a bad cold. I am getting married in 4 weeks time. If I catch the cold how long will it take and will I be over it before the wedding? Last thing I want is to be sneezing through "I do"

dependes how bad the cold is what strain it takes on your body and what your immune systems are like but a cold will take 3 days to develop in your body so just dose yourself up eats lots of vit c and rest to give your immume system best chance of not catching it.

It depends on your own immune system. If you are getting married in 4 weeks you should if you get it will get it soon and should be gone by then. As soon as you start feeling the cold coming on take the appropriate medicine asap and this will resolve the cold quicker. If in doubt on what to take when you get your cold pop to the pharmacy and speak with them and they will prompt the fastest action.

You can catch a Cold from one cough of someone who is cantagious.
No Cold virus is identical so it varies. As a rule of thumb though, it takes three days for a Cold to develop, you have the full blown effects for three days, then it takes three days to go. Nine days in total.
Realistically though, you would feel the symptoms of it for between two and nine days.

it depends on yer antibody function to ward off any sickness..if yer antibody is strong enough, no worries, by the way take more vit c supplements, drink lots of water, eat lots of fruit which contains lots of vit c, it will do the trick, try to cover your mouth or nose with hankie, just incase yer boss cough or sneeze and try to reason with him 'bout yer current situation and what yer wanna go thru in 4 weeks..good luck!!

you should definatley be ok for the big day! congratulations. my girlfriend has a low immune system, and managed to catch a cough off me in 5 minutes flat, it was strange cos within that time it had gone from me being nursed - to me nursing her!!

cold is very contagious and it can attack you if you do not have resistance. Start drinking pepper decotion twice a day to prevent cold attacking you.
