I usually say "doei!".
You know, if I let the silence say it for me people will just think me rude.

It is always best to speak up and tell the truth. People don't want silence but an answer as to why? Why? WHY? Even when it is almost un-answerable. Never walk away without stating the reason. Even if is letting someone you love die and go to their death...sometimes you love them enough to let them go ahead and die rather than suffer, but let them know it is ok. Of course a friend once told me ,just because people ask for the truth doesn't mean they want to hear it.

No, it is not acceptable. If you do really love a person, you have to do your best not to let him go, and if there is no hope you must express your feelings and do not let the silence say it for you.

I believe its only healthy to let the person know that you are letting them go. Its best you keep it real for yourself and the person even though you still love that person. Just say "Its not working, I am in pain so I have to let you go, God Bless.!"
