do I tell her it is just to see how she we are as a family, or tell her he is her new daddy. He is open to telling her either.

Don't tell your child that this is her new daddy unless you have the paper from the courthouse to prove it. This will save you and your child heartache if things don't work out. Tell her that your boyfriend can do daddy type stuff with her but that he is not her ded. If it were me, I wouldn't move in at all and save yourself the problems that could arise with confusing her over this whole situation.

Take it from a man BIG mistake to let your child think he is her dad. If all you want to do is play house and bring a man into your kids life this way the best thing to do is tell her the truth that he is your boyfriend. Don't open her up to a possible broken heart. It's stuff like this that makes some little girls grow up and hate men. She could grow up and have abandonment issues. Please' Don't make it any worse.

don't ever have you're child call a boyfriend daddy......if your not serious enough to be married why confuse the kid and make a breakup that much more difficult

"our" bf???? start with just to see how you are as a family, the dynamic could actually not work out and then you would have to explain why you are leaving "daddy" instead of "my boyfriend"
what are you teaching her about honesty if you start out lying to her? and what are you teaching her about commitment and marriage if you are just going to shack up? your decisions dont affect just you, you are setting her moral standards too

Just tell her the truth. If you will not tell, by the time, she will know the truth then what she will think about you, so face the fact and tell her real.

ohhhh! wrong wrong wrong all wrong! Get married first or sooooon. Give him a similar name but not daddy. He's jim or bob or whatever until he's your husband and her stepdad. Please dont let her get attached if your just going into this for a trial!!!!!
