First of all, they should have been honest with you right from the start.I am disabled and have had personal ads on yahoo in the past.It was always included in my ad that I was disabled.I feel the person I might get involved with has the right to know that right up front. It bothers some people to be with someone who isn't perfect,I have no use for those type of people so why waste each others time.Other people can see you for the person you are inside and not be bothered by the exterior.I met my boyfriend through that ad,we have been together now for over 5 years. He is the most wonderful man I ever met and accepts me imperfect as I am.

Well, if you truly fell in love with them, it shouldn't make a scrap of difference, should it?

But truth is, it's very difficult to get an accurate picture of a person over the internet, so if you did fall in love online, you probably didn't fall in love with the real person.

This just illustrates how important it is NOT to delay meeting someone face to face. If you meet someone online and think they may be a potential partner, then insist on meeting them immediately. You can pick somewhere safe and neutral, like a coffee shop or restaurant. If they won't agree to meet you, then cut them off - there's something they're not telling you, so why waste your time.

Of course that's difficult to do if the person is not in your city, but in that case you have to wonder why you're getting into a relationship in the first place. Long distance relationships are fine if you've gotten to know the person first, but they don't often succeed if you meet while you're a long way away.

well you obviously did not discuss this as you were getting to know each other so well. there are two ways of looking at this, one they were not honest with you and did not declare this and so therefore not to be trusted. BUT and its a big BUT. when people start off talking on the net to other people they live in a small fantasy world sometimes, they never think it will come to anything, but occasionally it does. then you are left thinking Oh my god how do I explain this away. What started off as a bit of fun and not really real in your mind turns into reality . This person has probably;y Fallen;len in love with you too and was thinking if they told you , you would not have met them or been angry .This is a very easy one to be judgmental on , but please don't be, trust your instincts, your gut feeling, you say you love this person, so Hun if you love them you have top decide whether they purposely deceived you or wether it just snowballed and they didn't know how to tell you, there is a big difference.Loving someone means you love them unconditionally. Disability or not.

Well if you're in love all that shouldn't matter. You have to learn to deal with whatever disability that they might have. One arm, wheelchair, one eye... no of that matters when it comes to love. But if you are really shallow then let the person out easy. No reason to waste their time and yours. Because if they made you fall in love with them, I'm pretty sure that they can find someone else that might love them back. But thats for the shallow people. No one is perfect. And you should judge NO ONE.

that must've been a shock for you huh? nevertheless, if you fell in love with him/her already without knowing how they look, it means you loved their internal qualities...so if you are already in love, it doesnt matter how he/she looks like...their disability should in no way stand in your way!
