If you can find another job that pays the same go ahead and quit. I'm stuck in a job where I like the work, I tolerate my coworkers, and the pay is pretty good, but the company is run by the biggest bunch of unethical, moronic b*st*rds who are going straight to Hell when they die which I hope is soon and painful. Sorry, I always go off like that because If I knew 15 years ago what I know now I would have quit back then even if I didn't have a new job lined up.

You know, life is just too short to be so unhappy spending time at a job that obviously mistreats you. Your job is so much a apart of your day, to be spending it questioning how you are treated, seems to be a waste of your talents. You should know that there are so many different kinds of companies and bosses to work for, that you may very well find that a switch will produce such a change in your life that you will say, "What was I thinking, I should have moved on long ago."

There's so many other factors, what you're getting paid, do you like your co-workers, location (is it close to home), do you have good benefits, do you have another job to go to. I've been working in offices for ten years I almost never felt appreciated. It's a pretty common thing. You can't know that your next job will be better. Having said that if you really hate it maybe you should leave. Life's a bit short to spend five days a week being miserable. maybe find another job before you leave this one.

Maybe you have thought about this for a very long time and still couldn't decide and that's the reason for the 10 answers, am i right?
Well dear, leave if you feel unhappy,
BUT...
(1) be mentally prepared for the unemployment pressure
(2) be financially secured for those months or years of unemployment for the mortgage and etc
(3) be emotionally ready. You will feel good for leaving only for the first 2 weeks. But, after that, you will feel the tension built up within you.
Good Luck Ok....

Find another job first, but leave if it's what you feel you want. It's not worth staying in a job with unjust superiors (though doesn't this describe most workplaces? ha ha)
I'm a hypocrite though because I detest my job & it's the opposite of what I want to do but I have to pay my mortgage. So until I can make a living doing something creative (rather than destructive to my soul) here I sit...hey at least I have the internet...

Only leave if you have found another job to go to, or if you have decided what you want to do, Don't just quit without giving it careful thought.

Leave. If you are asking the question, you must be miserable in your current job. Why punish yourself? Take the leap. Don't waste your life. If needed, you can blame me as being the moron who suggested you quit.
