I have a 2 year old Yorkie and whenever I feel a big one coming, I fart in his face. my husbant thinks it's mean. is it?

Hi Green eyed, What would you of done,if your little yorkie bite down on your A S S,and started shaking his head,and trying to get that smell out of there.Would you ever fart in his face again!! I didn't think so.Remember,dogs have feeling to.

What's the point? Would you care to have your dog do the same to you? Believe me, some dog farts linger in the air longer than a humans do. I don't think it's mean, just very childish. Grow up and treat your dog with some love and respect. He treats you better than you're treating him right now and that's sad.

I would never do this to my dog however unfortunetly my brother will do this to everything that breathes (well if he wont get in trouble for it) and on top of that hes 27 years old!

It's pretty gross, and I feel sorry for the dog- but I wouldn't go as far to say its unethical! I think it's pretty mean and obviously degrading, but funny at the same time. As the dog if he minds- he probably doesn't. For dogs, any attention is good attention.

lol that's kind of crude, but not unethical. I had a buddy who farted in his dog's face all the time....but the dog learned to do the same. It was sort of a rivalry.

Heck no!!! We always used to fart on our dogs. My brother likes to fart on his cat, but the cat gets his own back by vomiting on my brother's bed whild he's sleeping.
