A butch cut is a man's haircut on a woman. It is short but can be traditional, crew, etc.

I think any length, because to me, it depends if the person is actually what you term "butch" or not. I used to wear a buzz cut with long bangs on one side, but I was never a "butch". A lot of guys liked it! Although there are a lot more guys that seem to prefer long hair.

It is a #2 guard over all the hair. A quarter of an inch all around.

#1 all around. if it is a woman it is a 'butch cut' otherwise it is a 'crew cut'
