uhm well i got a paper work about the comparison and contrast of the 2 topics...i want to know more about its contrast

AI works on neural technology which is kind of self leaning and adapting after a certain point of time and till predefined limits whereas infromation technology is processing generated data as it is.

well . . . for starters information technology has to do with the representation and transmission of information in digital systems. that means, for example; that IT has to do with the mechanisms to represent books on computers. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has to do with a fusion of technology and philosophy. The intention here is to emulate human thinking in non-human systems. If you believe that human thinking can be described mathematically and that this mathematical description can be fully represented in Boolean logic, then it should be possible to reproduce human thought with digital circuits. You might find the referenced book by c. petzold to be of use.

really stupid assignment if u ask me. its sort of lik asking "wats the difference between a keyboard and a computer virus?" two things that are sort of related but have nothing 2 do with each other at the same time.
