Marriage as a religious institution is defined as being between a man and a woman. However, from a secular and legal point of view there is no rational reason to deny same-sex couples the same legal benefits and protections of marriage that are given to heterosexual couples. If a 'government' is going to extend legal protections to couples wishing to formalize their relationship, then it should extend those protections to all couples. To do otherwise is discrimination, plain and simple.
Were same-sex marriage legalized, no religious community would be required to endorse such unions or marry any couple it did not choose to marry. Churches can and should have the right to say no to marriage for gays (or anyone else for that mater) in their congregations, just as Catholics say no to divorce, but divorce is still a legal civil option. Marriage licenses, which are granted by the state, and religious marriage, are two separate things. Rather, it is those many religious communities who recognize that gay and lesbian people are as fully created in the image of God as heterosexual people whose religious freedom is currently being violated. All faith communities - traditional, liberal, conservative, and progressive - should have the right to marry those whom they see fit to marry.

The issue is not necessarily a biblical one, but one that is based on religion, common sense, natural law, and practical experience.
Homosexuality has always been considered a seriously disordered state, and continues to expose those who practice it to serious dangers.
The whole of society suffers as a result.
One doesn't need to be a "right winger" or "Bible thumper" to figure that out.

Here are some sciptural verses regarding homosexuality in the Bible:

there is nothing in the bible that defines marriage. it is only law that defines it.
Negrita:- there is never the word gay mentioned in the bible. The word gay was not around for a long time after the supposed bible was written.

genesis tell us that in the beginning of the earth God created Adam and then created Eve also the cities of Sodoma and Gomorra were destroyed on count that there were gays there were people also with animals etc. it was against God laws
