Maybe you keep coming back here because you are lonely. Or, you have bipolar disorder! Is that the same as manic depressive? Then maybe you are in the manic state when you can't sleep and keep coming back here.

My problem with your asking this is, if you are bipolar, how did you find this out, and WHY are you not on medication??? If you are, then maybe there's no answer for you.

Sometimes not being able to sleep isn't a bipolar disorder it is insomnia my husband finds it really hard to sleep and had to be prescribed sleeping pills. There is also ones you can try first from your health shop they are something like calms but I cant remember the name but if you pop into your local health shop they will help you. Then if they don't work see your GP.

hi, i have this too. try to unwind, a milky drink a warm bath, do some reading in bed. or just do something tedious to send you off to sleep like sorting out clutter from a draw. if you are not on medication i suggest you see your doctor asap. switch off the pc. get some lavender oil and put some drops on your pillow. and find out where some local meditation classes are. close your eyes and breath deeply through your nostrils and then exhale. everything is ok and you are ok, hope this has been of help.
