Wear a light floral... with the flowers etc. at the wedding as well as other people wearing perfume the smell can get overwhelming...

Put a few drops on the hem of your dress so it leaves a faint scent in your wake... If you are wearing a long veil a few drops on the back hem...

Also a drop or two behind each ear as people will be giving you hugs and kisses on the cheek all evening..

After the ceremony place and before the reception place a dab on each wrist not before as the perfume scent and the scent of your bouquet can clash and mix badly...

Make sure your groom wears a muted scent in aftershave/ cologne he should also put a few drops behind his ears as people will be hugging and kissing him on the cheek as well...

Be sure to try the scents on yourselves prior to the wedding to be sure they are complimentary not clashing... For continuity you might want to get a small vial of the two scents you choose and distribute them to your wedding party and anyone else who will be in the recieving line... That way you will not have 5-6 different scents vying for dominance in the recieving line..

I have caught a whiff of some perfume that was just dreamy, I wanted to melt into the woman’s arms, I just don’t know what it was called. On other occasions the smell was just too strong, even if nice over powering is a turn off, so you are on the right track there.
Good luck. Only marries once myself, not sure I would do it again.

Congrats on your wedding - I'm getting married on October 28th and I've been thinking about a nice perfume for the big day as well and something I ran across during my search is Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker - it's nice and light :) Good luck!

you have enough time to do a field test. pick 2 perfumes you like ( white diamonds, and beautiful are a nice choice for what your after) get samples from the department store. wear one for a week and the other for a week, the one you get most compliments on is your fragrance, shoot you have enough time you could try a few more, have fun with it . You'll be amazed at how people are influenced by scent.
Have a beautiful life!!Care and Bless, Jodi

Go to the local perfume counter and try them out - that's the only way to do it, I coul recommend all mannerof perfumes, but until they are actually on your skin you aren't going to know how they smell on you.... Perfumes are affected by the acidity of our skin, etc so its going to be an afternoon of testing for you...take a friend and have fun! Oh and baby wipes!

I might be a man and this might sound cheesy, but Britney Spear's perfume (not sure right now what it is called) is like the perfect scent. My wife wore it on our wedding day after trying like 15 different things. It is really nice.

Try Amazing Grace by Philosophy. It is light and feminine, but not at all overwhelming.
