not sure on the type of cat she is but im not sure if that even matters??

I have always heard for the first litter that it's usually 2-3. All of my cats always had 3 or 4 the first time.

I've only had 2 cats who had kittens. The 1st one had 4 kittens and the 2nd one had 5. The mother of 5 was only about 9 months old and not very big when she had kittens so I wasn't expecting too many kittens...I was wrong!!

I've seen cats have anywhere from 1-6 kittens! It really doesn't matter what type or how old or if it's first litter. You should REALLY get her spayed after this. Have you heard about the extreme cat overpopulation??

Our last cat to have kittens had 6. She was probably only around 6 months old when we took her in off the streets.

Most of the cats I've known had about three the first time.
By the way, Smiljana M's obviously had some strange experience with cats...

My cat had three with many hours inbetween each delivery. One at 7 am, one at noo and one at 5 pm. Poor thing-she was in stress all day!!!

Usually they only have one or two the first time and the number seems to increase with the number of pregnancies.
