I'm going to be joining the army soon, probaly real soon. I was wanting to know if anyone knows a site that gives definitions on mos's and what the qualifications are. I've done searches and didn't pull up anything.
Also if you could give me some advice on any good mos/s I would really apreciate it.

Thank you in advance.

Wow! I don't have any sites and can't really help you....but I want to say....... "Thank-you ;-) !!!"

I have one son that did 8 yrs in special forces, intelligence (both analyst and operations) and he really enjoyed his position and has served him (and many others) very well.

And then my other son, was 82nd Airborne and enjoyed his position too, but it wasn't quite as applicable to the outside world.

I wish you the best of luck, and I THANK YOU! tremendously, from the bottom of my heart! Know there are many others who Thank You too, and know you have lots of people saying prayers for your safety! God Bless You!

Have you talked to a recruiter yet? What do you want to do?
What you'll be able to do will depend on how you do on the ASVAB and any other testing.
If you pick your MOS, the Army will train you for it.
Here's the site you're looking for

When my husband joined, he was able to pick his MOS-11B. He only wanted airborne infantry. This eventually led to Special Operations. When he ETS'd, military service helped him to obtain a job, but nothing he learned was really that useful.
However, not much was useful in day to day life. He's now in law enforcement and on the emergency response team (so he still gets to play with guns).

Remember. When choosing your MOS, ask yourself what it's going to get you for a job when you eventually get out of the Army.

First, thanks for thinking of us, and for the courage to enlist.

Second, do a search for "DA PAM 611-21". This is the regulation that shows the different MOSes and the required qualifications.

Third, PLEASE, whatever you do, DON'T go to MEPS with only one job in mind. Have a couple of jobs that you are interested in. They will offer you jobs based on your qualifications (ASVAB and medical) and for schools that are open.

Again, thanks for your time and for thinking of us. Good luck

Try to get something in the computer field or medical field. And then be prepared to do that in the combat zone.
