can love be stopped?

When you find your first true love, it feels heavenly. If they stop their love for you, it hurts, but you eventually get over it and look for someone who will really care for you. If they stop your love for them, (and I'm not sure which of these you meant) I wouldn't chase the man. I would look for someone who would appreciate me for what I am. Either way, it hurts to love someone and have then not have feelings for you. But that's life. Good luck to you and maybe you should come right out and ask this person what his feelings are for you.
