Service Pack 2 can be removed via the Add/Remove applet in the control panel. Be sure to click the "show updates" check box on the top of the screen so you can see it. It is listed as "Windows XP Service Pack 2".
However - many of the programs you have installed after upgrading to SP2 will be rendered useless after uninstalling SP2. Therefore, you'll need to re-install any of those programs. Be sure you have your necessary disks.
That being said, SP2 provides enhanced security and better functionality than it's predecessors. It's a pain to remove. Before you proceed, be sure that SP2 is really the offending software, and not something else that could be patched or re-installed to make it work, othewise you'd be doing a whole lot of work for nothing.

Go to Control Panel and Add/Remove Programs. It's listed as a program, so you should just be able to click Change/Remove to get rid of it.

you're caught. homestead windows XP SP 2 supplies you lots protection constructive components no longer contemporary in previous constructive components. i think of MS is in simple terms helping XP with SP 2 quickly. IE 7 must be out quickly, so attempt that to work out if it fixes your themes (or the beta in case you dare). additionally you ought to place FireFox on it and you will have the protection of PX SP2 and a stable cyber web browser.
