because I feel that it is less intrusive and so it doesn't seem that I'm forcing myself to her. I also don't want to bother her if she is busy. What do you think?

Text messaging lets you distance yourself from possible rejection. But as your relationship progresses, you will need to open yourself up to personal contact.

Texting also lets you think about what you're going to say before it actually comes out. It's a wonderful way to get to know each other, but be careful not to say things via text that you wouldn't say in person. Also, she can read them on her time.

It's not weird, and your explinations seem valid, but I personally don't like it when a guy texts me. Hopefully when ur texting her she doesn't have to pay extra for those messages, because that would really be inrusive now wouldn't it. Not all plans come with free texts. Anyway, most of the time not calling a girl is because of fear, you may not admitt to it now, but talking over the phone is so much more personable than texting, and you're probably more comfortable with texting because it's completely cut off from personable conversation. I wouldn't suggest it, I know a lot of girls who'd rather have a phone call than an impersonal text message.

I don't think it is so much being weird than it is being too chicken to call and talk to her. Texting is so impersonal. Grow some balls and talk to her. Get some game and learn how to smooze a gal. Ladies love it when a guy calls them to hear the melodious sound of their voice.

I don't think it's weird. I am a pretty shy person, and I prefer text messaging a guy rather than calling him as well.

I think that it is a lot better to just txt her. i agree that it is less intrusive and it does not make someone feel obligated to talk to you. i prefer it when people txt me.
