Ok, is it me, or are alot of People Online just Mean because they can be?
I mean, what percentage of People would you say are actually Nice, and what percentage are just Mean?

There are definitely nice and mean people.
The trick here is to focus on the nice people and totally ignore the mean ones.
I believe there are still a lot of nice people out here on YA.
Otherwise, I would not be on it.

I would say that the people who are mean on the net because they are mean in real life. Just remember, the same jerks and bitches you run into online can be easily ran into on the street. I am sure there are a lot of people who try to talk a good or bad game because it is the internet after all. Same goes true for the nice ones.
If I had to give a percentage, I would say about 30%. You only hear about the bad ones though and not the good people.

If you look at the world, there is more anger and repression either by the person themself or their surrounding. It is easier for someone to be mean or more upfront online than in person, because they have have that screen to hide behind. I read somewhere before, it's like a fantasyland playground. Percentage is just a statistic evaluation. Everyone's answer would be different according to who they have met in their life or what they are used to and know.

People online are far more expressive than in person. When you're in front of a computer screen, nobody can see you and you can say whatever you want without any consequences. After all, when will you ever see that person again? I think that the world in general is just a bad place full of mean people anyway...most of them just hide it until the find the nearset internet cafe

anywhere you go whether its online or out on the street you are goingto run into mean insensitive people. people who are this way are the real losers in life. online they do it because they think they are smart and feel powerful when they can put someone down and they can be crueli bet they wouldn't be so cocky if they were haing serious issues themselves. there was a peom that was very popular back in the 60's called desiderada one verse read
avoid loud and aggressive persons they are vexations of
your spirit.there are alot of people on here who are genuine and caring listen to them there's more of a percentage of them andthey are special people!!!

Yes, a lot of people on this answer board are mean. They are mean and petty, and it is sad. That is why I rarely post a question on here. For every 10 answers, there may be one that is actually intelligent and well-thought out.

I would say there are alot jerks out there that speak there mind on line because they know you cant see them that wouldnt dare say it directly to you, just ignore those. Pray for the mean, life is to short!
