My right arm is capable of lifting a dumbell 7 times before it tires, while my left is capable of lifting only 3 times. I repeat this until I can't do anymore. Should I work out both arms equally, even though one arm is obviously stronger than the other or keep it the way it is? Will this create an uneven appearance in my arms?

Work them evenly with a weight that will allow you to do 5-8 reps on both sides. Then do 3 sets with 1 minute rest breaks. Drink water. The weaker side will catch up very quickly and you will be on your way symmetrically.

My suggestion would be to use lower weights until both arms are capable of performing the same numbers of reps. If you continue doing what you are now then yes, your arms will become uneven.
