Carfax reports are not free, they will give you some info when you insert the VIN but this info is basic and not enough details to have any value.

While it's important to run an online history report, you should be aware that this info is not 100%, accidents and other valubale information may not be reported or even delayed when reporting.

Carfax is NOT free. Whoever said "Duh, go to carfax.com" is an idiot and has never used the site. It costs $20 to get one on that site (what the other poster had written). I have searched thoroughly online and have found nothing of getting a car report for free.

There are no free sites. I have spent several days trying to look for a free site
that will give me free vehicle report but no, there's none. Instead I found a very cheap
one. I got my reports for only$4.99 using this discount link http://bit.ly/CHEAPCARFAX
